A pre-order is a way for customers to purchase a product before it becomes available for sale. This allows you, the customer, to reserve a product, before its official release date.

Terms and conditions of pre-order are as follows: 

1. All pre-order payments are handled through our Shopify store’s payment platform. Method of payments accepted are Visa, Master Card, American Express, AfterPay, PayPal and others as made available from time to time by the payment gateway provider. “Full payment” is required & should be made via online store. You will be charged payment in full with the addition of shipping to your address.

By placing a pre-sale order, it constitutes your agreement to ‘House and Label’ charging you the full payment/cost in advance and in correlation to the terms and conditions set thereof.

The purchase price does include import duties, taxes, and other government charges.

Cancellation of orders is not allowed once the “Order” has been submitted and paid, it cannot be exchanged for other products/items or services being rendered. All pre-orders made are considered as sold.

2. Estimated Date of Arrival: Shipment is based on the shipping schedule of our selected courier. Although we are able track and trace the whereabouts of our shipment/s we cannot assure you the exact date and time of its arrival here in Australia due to several factors such as delays due to unforeseen events beyond our control (Technical problems of the shipping company, Natural Disasters, Customs clearing etc.)

Products coming from our international manufacturer/s usually takes 25-40 days from date of shipping. The maximum number of days should not exceed 60 days to arrive in Australia. If this is the case, you will have the option of a full refund. Kindly manage your expectations. “If you cannot wait that long then please do not proceed with your order.” No discounts, refunds or credits will otherwise be offered due to any such delays.

Once the products have arrived and received by our team, you will be informed via the contact method you have provided. We will aim to have your order sent out within a maximum of 36hrs or 3 days after they reach our store.

The Products will be shipped in the order in which your Pre-Order is received by the Company. Shipments will be made Monday – Friday, excluding holidays, unless otherwise noted.

Your items will be shipped to you according to the method of shipping you have chosen. So please allow an additional 3-10 business for you to receive your order. Rural customers on a rare occasion might have to wait a little longer due to postage services in rural destination. Insurance on these items should be selected in the case of lost or damaged items during shipment.

3. Pre-orders are non-transferable. All orders made shall ship directly to the person and address specified in the order. We will not entertain such requests to protect the privacy and security of our clients. Once you place your order, your order is final, non­cancelable, and non-refundable, except as specified in these terms and the applicable terms of sale.

When placing a pre-order, you will be required to enter your information such as your full name, address, and billing information. You will warrant that your information is correct and kept updated. House and Label will have no responsibility or liability for information you provide that is inaccurate or in some instances becomes outdated. If this is the case and we are unable to contact you, House and Label have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can update your information at any time prior to your Product being shipped by sending an e-mail to hello@houseandlabel.com.au.

4. The products are offered "as is" and "as available", with any defects and without any warranties. The Company does not provide any express or implied warranties for the products. This includes merchantability, quality, fitness for a certain purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement of third-party rights. This is to the fullest extent allowed by law and is in addition to any warranties stated in the Company's Terms and Conditions of Sale and Shipping & Returns Policy. This is in relation to your bamboo/wood products. As with Bamboo and Acacia Wood products, they have a natural grain and each lid will differ in colour and texture. Cracks are normal and can occur over time especially during general handling and changes in temperature/weather (such as shipping, home temperatures, sudden change in temperatures) This does not affect the purpose, usage or suitability of the product. If the product arrives you severely defected - photo evidence will be required and you will asked to return the product at your own expense and another will be shipped out to you at at the discretion of House and Label.  

5. Disclaimer: Not enforcing any rights or provisions outlined in the Pre-Order Terms and Conditions does not mean they cannot be enforced later. These terms, along with any other rules or policies on the site, make up the entire agreement between the customer and House and Label and govern the use of the service. It supersedes any previous agreements, communications, or proposals, whether oral or written, between the customer and House and Label. Any unclear parts of these terms will not be interpreted in favour of the party who wrote them.

Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.
